We are excited to feature oil paintings on board by Anne-Louise Ewen at Piranesi. Terry met the artist on a recent trip to Los Angeles while visiting family. Because the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico was on everyone’s mind, Terry was particularly taken with the paintings of fish by Anne-Louise. Further conversation with Anne-Louise proved most coincidental (what a small world)….
Anne-Louise grew up in Donaldsonville, LA and attended LSU where she graduated with a degree in philosophy and fine arts. She was living in New Orleans and active in both visual and performing arts when hurricane Katrina hit. She evacuated to Los Angeles and has been living there since. She is currently a featured artist at the Studio Arts Gallery in Laguna Beach.
