Max Ryan is a native  New Orleanien whose work  is inspired by the vivid colors, extrordinary tetuxres, myriad shapes and architectural richness of the city, as well as his background in design and building.  An abstract impressionist,  he incorporates these influences into his paintings in a non-representational manner.  Using acrylic paints he applies layers of  deep colors combined with a variety of metallic leaf, textures and glazes to create a diverse collection of contemporary pieces.

Max’s paintings are stunning and are collected locally, nationally and internationally, as well as being featured in  galleries, exhibitions, and publications.
